"Pak'n'Save" is a chain of large supermarkets in New Zealand owned by "Foodstuffs" cooperative which also owns/operates the "New World" chain of medium sized supermarkets and the "Four Square" chain of smaller supermarkets. "Pak'n'Save" consistently has the lowest prices overall of all the supermarket chains. In an effort to discourage the use of disposable plastic shopping bags all "Pak'n'Save", "New World" and "Four Square" supermarkets now charge customers 10 cents per plastic shopping bag. "Pak'n'Save" regularly have short-dated stock at super low prices which would tend to indicate that they'd rather sell it than dump it.
"Pak'n'Save" dumpsters are located indoors in the delivery area so are not accessible.
All "Pak'n'Save" and "New World" supermarkets on the south island now offer free wifi hotspots.
