Lidl

Lidl is a cheap supermarket with stores in many European countries.

In Sweden there was a case when Lidl employees poured a corrosive liquid, the equivalent of Chlorine, on food that would be discarded, in order to keep homeless people away from dumpster diving (this case was filed for police investigation, and the managing director of Lidl Sweden called the incident "extremely regrettable").

In Belgium 5 people were fired for taking pizzas that were supposed to go to the trash.

In Germany the union Verdi published a blackbook about Lidl and their disgusting treatment of employees, customers, producers and the rest of the world. It's translated to English and Croatian, but unfortunately not for free.
