If you find more organic lemons in good condition than you can use at the moment, peel them using a good sharp peeler or a sharp knife, then use the yellow part (the zest): put it in a jug and fill it with water, then store in fridge for up to 4 days. This will give you drinking water with a strong scent but neutral taste; if you are not afraid of sour drinks you can also slice the inner part of lemon and put slices in the water. However, this advice is rather valid for organic lemons only as a zest of non-organic fruits is coated with a foul tasting wax and is likely to contain high level of pesticides.

Otherwise, you can make refreshing lemonades from any recovered lemons, especially if a dumpster also provides some sugar.
