Geneva is a city in Switzerland, close to the border with France.

There is a market on Tuesdays and Fridays on Plaine de Plainpalais, and at Rond-Point de Rive on Wednesdays and Saturdays. At 12 o`clock they finish selling. You can stay by the orange containers: vendors throw the food away in there. But - it's not much of food. You can try asking vendors for some unused produce. Better solution is to go to nearby France. You can make it on the bike, it's about 6-8 km from the city center to Annemasse where lots of markets take place, just go there and you will see (best time is after 8p.m. when the markets are closed.).
